Center for HEART was established in 2013. 

 

Our specialized counselors deal with various traumas, however, we especially focus on sexual traumas such as rape, domestic violence, male survivors, child sexual assault and sexual minority. 

 

We also offer supervision and training for Counselors or family member (included but not limited) of survivors with these traumas.

All of our bilingual counselors are fully booked.

Since we do not expect to resume accepting new requests for a while, we have decided to suspend the waiting list.

We will annouce on our website when we are ready to accept new clients.

 

 

 Our Counseling 

We offer online counseling and supervision.

Place :

  Available online (Zoom, Skype, Google meet etc) or phone
       * We are not offering in-person counseing anymore. 

          We will inform you the detail when you reserve an appointment.
 
Fee:

  10,000 yen/hour (15,000yen/90mins)
      * The first intake will be one-time fee of 8,000 yen/hour.


Payment methods:

   Bank Transfer : We will tell you the transfer NO. when your reservation is completed.
 
Cancellation Policy:  

   Notification given after 7pm on the day prior to an appointment day will result in 100% charge of the reserved service.

Booking process:

As soon as we receive your reservation, we will contact you about your counseling schedule within a week. 

  • If you don't get E-mail from us in a week, it could be a system error, so we appreciate you try to contact us again.
  • We recommend you to give us the preferred dates that are a week or more from now. Please note that it usually takes a few days to process and finalize a reservation.
  • Your information can only be used by authorized personnel at our center.

After graduating from University in Japan, she received a M.A. in Counseling Psychology in the United States. She, as a counselor,  has various experience supporting survivors of rape, domestic Violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and child abuse. She also offer advocate/counselor training and supervisions.

Suomi Fujimori (Counselor)

Suomi has 15 years of experience as a bilingual counselor working with a family and children after completing Master of Social Work in the US. She is a licensed clinical development psychologist in Japan, and has extensive experience in deciphering dynamics within couples and/or families to identify miscommunication between individuals, and optimizing their mutual understanding and respect. With her own experiences working in the US and Hong Kong, she is particularly committed to helping clients who experience difficulties in cross-cultural environments, whether in the workplace or in the family.

Yumika Suzuki (Counselor)

 

 

 

 

After graduating from college in the United States, I worked for an advertising company in Japan for about 10 years. I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology in Japan. As a clinical psychologist, I have worked with patients struggling with addictions and attachment trauma.

 

 

 

Focus Area 

Substance Abuse, behavioral addictions, attachment trauma, adult children, ASD/ADHD (developmental disorder)

 

CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), IFS(Internal Family Systems)
